Hi! Meet Ardee, The Purple Heron

“I Love Wetlands” is an early childhood environmental education project by Persatuan Tadika Sabah, introducing young children to the importance of Sabah’s mangrove ecosystems through storybooks, classroom activities, and field trips to KK Wetland. Featuring Ardee the purple heron, the program sparks curiosity and environmental awareness among over 1,200 students across 26 kindergartens, while equipping teachers with creative tools to inspire the next generation of nature stewards.
